Bridging Technique to Intervention

This program is offered for 1.8 ASHA CEUs (Introductory Level, Professional Area)
All workshops run from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM each day, unless otherwise noted on the workshop listing.
This workshop will cover a brief review of technique, and help the clinician more thoroughly understand and apply Parameter, Syllable, Complex and Surface prompting with different motor systems and conditions. A major focus of the workshop is understanding planes of movement (vertical, horizontal, anterior-posterior) and how these apply to lexicon development and word choices. Clinicians will be guided through the development of holistic intervention plans that entail selecting goals, writing objectives and developing activities. These would include all domains and motor to phoneme selections and working to develop plans that involve parents or caregivers utilize these goals in naturalistic environments.
Please note some workshop prices reflect a $50 "early-bird" discount. Workshop prices are subject to change at any time and many workshops fill quickly, so attendees should register as early as possible.
This presentation will focus exclusively on the PROMPT method and will not include information on other similar or related speech therapy methodology.
Note: If you wish ASHA CEUs for this workshop, you must provide your ASHA number during the registration process!
