PROMPT Institute to present at 2019 Apraxia Kids Conference

The PROMPT Institute is pleased to announce they have been accepted to present at the Apraxia Kids National Convention in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 


Amy Clark, Director of Clinical Education, and Guy Lisella, Executive Director, will present "PROMPT - Parents and Clinicians in Partnership” on July 12th from 3:00pm-5:00pm. the presentation will describe the PROMPT technique from both a clinical perspective and in "plain language" for those without an advanced degree in speech-language pathology.


The PROMPT Conceptual Framework, assessment, treatment planning and basic PROMPT treatment principles will be explained for both audiences. The presentation will include case study examples specific to Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). Specific strategies that both PROMPT-trained clinicians and parents should use to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of PROMPT treatment planning will also be presented and discussed. 


The Apraxia Kids National Conference is the only major conference on the speech, language, learning, and life needs of children with apraxia.
