Alice Stroutsos, M.S., CCC-SLP
Seatlle, Washington

Alice holds a Master's Degree from Boston University, a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, and a Washington state license in Speech-Language Pathology. Alice has been practicing since 1980 with clinical experience in Boston and the greater Seattle area at rehabilitation hospitals, acute care hospitals, and outpatient clinics. She has been in private practice since 1996. Her caseload consists of children diagnosed with a range of disabilities including: Developmental Dyspraxia, Autism/ PDD, Dysarthria, Down Syndrome, Developmental Delay, Sensory Integration Disorder, and Auditory Processing Disorder. Family training and a team approach are an integral part of every treatment plan. 

Alice is certified in PROMPT and has been a PROMPT Instructor since 1999. Recognized by Apraxia Kids for Advanced Training & Clinical Expertise in Childhood Apraxia of Speech. She is also featured on the SIGN with your BABY® Complete Learning Kit.

Amy Clark, M.S., CCC-SLP

Savage, Minnesota

Amy is a treatment clinician and CARES representative at Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. She has extensive experience working with children with developmental delays, motor speech disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and language disorders. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competency and is licensed in Minnesota. She has been responsible for providing supervision for other speech-language pathologists and graduate students.

In addition to PROMPT training, she has post graduate training and experience in auditory processing, Fast ForWord, Relationship Development Intervention (RDI), childhood apraxia of speech, and feeding. Past experience included work with adults and junior high school students. Amy has a special interest in motor speech disorders.

Cara Kennedy
Greenwich, Connecticut

Cara is a speech-language pathologist in private practice and a School District Administrator in a K-12 district located in Westchester County, New York. She has over 10 years of experience in pediatrics in schools, early intervention, and clinical settings. Her specialties include working with clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Apraxia of Speech, feeding/swallowing, as well as those who are medically fragile and have multiple disabilities. She is passionate about using PROMPT in collaboration with Augmentative and Alternative Communication, as well as behavioral strategies to support families and their children reach their highest potential.

Cara graduated with her masters in Speech-Language Pathology from Duquesne University. She holds her certification of clinical competence from ASHA and is licensed in New York and Connecticut. She is also trained in Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding and Social Thinking.

Danielle Weis, M.A., CCC-SLP

Arlington, Virginia

Danielle Weis is a private practitioner in the Washington D.C. area. Her scope of practice is in treating toddlers, preschoolers and school aged children with a variety of impairments that involve language, learning and speech difficulties. Danielle has over 15 years of experience treating children with motor speech disorders, childhood apraxia, autism spectrum disorder, PDD, sensory integration and feeding difficulties. She is ASHA certified and is licensed in Virginia. She has been using PROMPT therapy since 2007.

Denielle DiMarzo O'Dowd M.S., CCC-SLP

Denielle O'Dowd holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA as well as Connecticut and New York licensure in Speech Language Pathology. She provides direct services to various populations including, Birth-3, pre-school and school aged children. In addition she provides consultative services and maintains a private practice.

Gayle is a clinician who owns a small pediatric private practice in New York City. With more than 37 years as a certified and licensed SLP, Gayle has been privileged to develop her skills in a variety of work settings: public schools, special needs preschools, early intervention, neurodevelopment pediatrician’s office, and private practice. Gayle’s clinical interests in recent years have focused on youngsters with motor speech disorders, language delays and social pragmatic difficulties.

Gayle became PROMPT instructor in 2005. Gayle loves teaching PROMPT courses and also leads local PROMPT study groups. Gayle has a strong commitment to mentoring clinicians through the PROMPT experience.

Ginny Hemmer, M.A., CCC-SLP

Springfield, Virginia

Ginny is the Clinical Director of Children’s Speech and Language Services of Springfield. This is a private clinic in Springfield, Virginia that specializes in serving individuals, age 15 months to 20 years with a wide variety of language, learning, speech and sensory processing difficulties. Ginny has over 15 years experience working as a speech language pathologist. Past experience includes working with adults in hospital and rehab facilities, as well as work in the public schools. Jackie Dolson-Shewchuk MSLP CCC-SLP is a private practitioner in New York City. Her scope of practice is largely with children diagnosed with motor speech disorders and/or autism spectrum disorders. She also provides outreach services to multidisciplinary & ABA teams as well as school boards. Jackie has worked within early intervention, pre-school, school and hospital settings. Jennifer Eigen M.S., CCC-SLP

Brooklyn, New York

Jennifer has a private practice in Brooklyn, New York. Therapists in her practice provide service toddlers, preschoolers and school age children with a wide range of issues including motor-speech, language and autistic spectrum disorders. 

She holds a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison, a CCC from ASHA and a NY State license in speech-language pathology. Her prior experience includes work in an early intervention program, a public preschool and a children's rehabilitation hospital. Jennifer began using PROMPT in 2000 and is currently planning and implementing PROMPT research, contributing to PROMPT publications and teaching PROMPT courses. Jennifer also chairs the PROMPT Institute's Course Development Committee.

Jennifer Moore EDD, CCC-SLP

Sparta, New Jersey

Dr. Jennifer Moore is a speech-language pathologist with a multidisciplinary private practice in Wayne, NJ. Dr. Moore has previously held positions in academia, home health, public schools, and a pediatric hospital. Dr. Moore is a subject matter expert in motor speech development and disorders and autism. She has taught over 50 workshops to SLPs in the U.S and has developed courses and materials for parents and SLPs. Dr. Moore is also an adjunct professor at Kean University, where she teaches and develops graduate coursework in pediatric motor speech disorders. Her research projects pertain to the subpopulation of children who present with coexisting motor speech dysfunction and autism. Dr. Moore has been both selected and invited to present on various topics related to her expertise at conferences for CASANA (Apraxia Kids, 2017), NJ Speech and Hearing Association (2018, 2020), and several local speech and language chapters and community events. She is active in the NJ Speech-Language Hearing Association and currently is the Co-Chair of the Interprofessional Autism Conference, as well as an active committee member of Autism Collaborative and Private Practices.

Jennifer Shapiro, M.A., CCC-SLP

Plainview, New York

Jennifer works in a private practice in Long Island, New York. She received her masters degree from Adelphi University and is a certified member of ASHA. Jennifer has previously worked in the public school system and has provided speech and language therapy through the New York Early Intervention Program. Her current caseload includes children ages 2-10 years exhibiting a variety of developmental delays including pervasive developmental disorder, autism, apraxia, and sensory integration dysfunction. 

Jennifer began her PROMPT training in 2002 and has been using it within her therapy sessions ever since.

Julie A. Madonia, M.A., CCC-SLP

River Edge, New Jersey

Julie is a practicing speech-language pathologist specializing in oral- motor, feeding/swallowing and motor speech disorders. Julie has maintained an active private practice while working at the Hospital for Special Surgery as the Clinical Supervisor of Pediatrics. There she coordinates Speech Pathology services as well as Physical, Occupational and Psychology services.

She has lectured in the area of feeding/swallowing disorders and supervises graduate students from several programs in the New York area. Julie received NDT certification in 1987 and further specialized training, completing the 3-week NDT Baby Certification course. Julie has been using and practicing PROMPT since 1997.

Karalynne DelToro, M.S., CCC-SLP

Arlington, Virginia

KaraLynne has a private practice in a suburb of Washington D.C. She is presently utilizing the PROMPT system of therapy to remediate speech and language deficits in children with a range of disabilities including assorted motor speech disorders, phonological disorders, language delay and PDD/autism disorders. 


In addition to private practice she has worked in clinics, schools and hospitals. Her expertise includes training parents in early language acquisition and stimulation techniques.

Laura Reeger
Dayton, Ohio

Traveling around the country with her Air Force family, Laura worked in a variety of settings where she specialized in augmentative and alternative communication for individuals with a wide variety of motor speech, language, and developmental disorders.  She completed extensive training in a variety of augmentative communication programs for children and adults with complex communication needs, as well as intensive courses in the principles of sensory integration through the University of Southern California.  

Laura is a speech-language pathologist who is licensed in the state of Ohio and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from West Virginia University followed by a Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Pittsburgh.  Completing her initial PROMPT training in 2009, Laura became a PROMPT Instructor in 2022.   Currently, she works at a small private practice in Dayton, Ohio implementing a family-centered, multidisciplinary approach integrated with the PROMPT philosophy.  


 

Marcus Neal, M.S., CCC-SLP

West Lake Hills, Texas

Marcus provides speech-language services to children ranging in ages from 2-14 years old with a wide variety of motor speech, language, and developmental disorders.  He works at a small private practice that focuses on providing family-focused therapy integrating all aspects of PROMPT into every session.

Marcus graduated from the University of Texas and later received his Master’s degree from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP).  He holds his national Certificate of Clinical Competence and is licensed in the state of Texas.  He has been using PROMPT Therapy since 2004.

Natalia Eva Mir, MS, CCC-SLP

Miami, Florida

Natalia is an ASHA certified bilingual speech-language pathologist in Florida. She completed her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology at University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is licensed in Florida and in New York State as a Speech-Language Pathologist and as a Teacher of Speech and Language Disabilities. Natalia earned her New York State Bilingual Certification at Teachers College, Columbia University. She has more than 20 years of clinical practice working in the NYS Early Intervention program, schools, and hospital settings. She has also taught as teaching assistant at the University of Buenos Aires. Natalia has worked with a variety of disabilities including motor speech disorders, developmental language delays and PDD/ Autism spectrum disorders.

Saba Torabi Hernandez, M.A., CCC-SLP PI
Leander, Texas

Saba has a private practice in the Austin area where she provides in home services.  Her caseload largely consists of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, PDD, motor speech disorders, childhood apraxia of speech and stuttering.  Her prior work experience has been with an early intervention clinic, public school and working with adults.  She graduated with both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from California State University Northridge.  She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competency from ASHA and is licensed in Texas and California.  She has been responsible for providing supervision for graduate students and speech-language pathologist assistants.  In addition to PROMPT, she is Hanen Certified and has post-graduate training and experience in stuttering, sensory integration, auditory processing and feeding therapy.  She has been using PROMPT therapy since 2006.

Shannon Dupuis
Long Island, New York

Shannon Gilson Dupuis started her journey in speech pathology in 2001 following receipt of a bachelor’s degree from Towson University, and then going on to receive a Master's degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Adelphi University in 2004. She received her first
training in P.R.O.M.P.T., Intro to Technique, in 2006 and became certified in P.R.O.M.P.T.
therapy in 2009. Over the years, Shannon has worked in a variety of settings, providing
treatment to both children and adults. She currently has a practice in Riverhead where she
treats clients on eastern Long Island, and she resides in Ridge, NY with her two beautiful

Kristin Goldstein
Long Island, NY

Kristin is a New York State licensed and ASHA certified speech-language pathologist with over 17 years of experience.  Kristin has served as department supervisor at a psychiatric day treatment center in Queens Village, NY and currently has a private practice on Long Island, NY.  She also works as an Adjunct Instructor/Clinical Educator at Molloy University in Rockville Centre, NY.  Kristin works with both children and adults presenting with a variety of disorders and diagnoses including ASD, CAS, dyspraxia, dysarthria, receptive and expressive language delays/disorders, Down syndrome and VPI.

Terry Hall, M.A., CCC-SLP PI

Denver, CO

Terry is a speech-language pathologist at JFK Partners, University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center. She also provides speech-language services for The Rise School of Denver which offers integrated programming for children with Down Syndrome ranging in ages from 15 months to 5 years of age. She specializes in work with children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, and motor speech disorders.

Currently, she is involved in multi-discipline evaluation, treatment, parent education, school consultation, supervision/training, and research for children with autism spectrum disorders. Her work has taken her too many places in the United States and in Europe.

Tracey Kellner, M.A., CCC-SLP

Huntington, NY

Tracey has a private practice on Long Island, New York. She is ASHA certified and also holds a degree as a Teacher for the Speech and Hearing Handicapped. Tracey served as a school based therapist providing speech therapy to middle and high school students before entering private practice. She worked with various populations while servicing children in Early Intervention and Preschool programs. 

Additionally, Tracey has served on a number of ABA teams and specializes in disorders related to PDD and Autism. She has been utilizing and studying PROMPT for the past 6 years.

Debra Goshulak, M.H.S.C., REG. CASPLO, SLP (C)

Toronto, Canada

Debra is a treatment clinician and the research co-ordinator at the Toronto Children’s Centre, Speech Foundation of Ontario. She holds an instructor status at the University of Toronto. Debra has focused her clinical skills on the treatment and research of motor speech disorders and has gained extensive experience with the PROMPT system. She has spoken at workshops and conferences internationally and provides consultations to Speech-Language Pathologists provincially on a regular basis.


Debra was the first Certified PROMPT Technique-Introduction Workshop Instructor (1990) and began acting as an Instructor in 1983. Since that time she has conducted multiple PROMPT workshops, training courses.

Gail Scher, PH.D., CCC-SLP

Ottawa, Ontario

Gail received her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in 1986. Gail is ASHA certified, and licensed in speech/language pathology as well as Early Intervention and Assessment in the state of Illinois. She also has her license in speech/language pathology at the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario. Gail has been practicing since 1982 with clinical experience in Toronto, Chicago suburbs and now Ottawa Canada. She has worked at rehabilitation hospitals, schools and cooperatives for children ranging in age from birth to high school with speech and language disorders. She has been in private practice since 2004.

 

Her caseload includes children with apraxia of speech, dysarthria, sensory integration disorders, autism spectrum disorders, hearing impairments, as well as children with neurological impairments. Isabelle completed her maîtrise professionnelle en orthophonie at Université de Montréal in 2005. After seven years as a school-based speech therapist in classes for children with special needs, she now operates a private practice in Mirabel, Québec, Canada. She provides services in French to children aged 18 months to 10 years old presenting with a variety of communication challenges (speech sound disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, developmental language disorder, autism spectrum disorder, down syndrome, developmental delays, cognitive impairments…) and she has extensive training in childhood apraxia of speech as well as in autism spectrum disorder.

Jodi is a private practice clinician in Northern Alberta, Canada. She provides services to preschool and school-age children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, speech-motor and language and learning disorders in both preschool and clinical settings.

Michele works in her private practice as well as part time at a children's treatment centre in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. She graduated in 1993 and has worked with a variety of patients at schools, hospitals and in private practice. Michele has worked extensively in the treatment and evaluation of infants to school aged children with numerous diagnosis' including motor speech disorders, language disorders and pediatric dysphagia.

Rosanna Sim, M.SC., REG. CASLPO

Rosanna owns a private practice which services preschool and school-aged children in the Niagara Region. Since she graduated in 1996, she has worked in a number of clinical settings in both the public and private sectors.  Rosanna has provided services to children with a range of 
communication difficulties and has a keen interest in motor speech disorders.  She has also 
supervised Speech Pathology and Communication Disorders Assistant students from both Canada and the US. Additionally, Rosanna has been Hanen trained in It Takes Two to Talk and in More Than Words.

Ainsley is the director of Eastside Speech Solutions in Sydney Australia- a private practice serving both children and adults with a variety of developmental and acquired speech and language difficulties as well as literacy and stuttering.  She has worked for more than 20 years in hospitals, rehabilitation units and private practice with both children and adults.

She particularly enjoys working with infants and toddlers.

Anne graduated from the University of Queensland in Australia in 1998 and worked as a speech pathologist within Education Queensland, Community Health Services in Northern New South Wales for 6 years. Anne is currently in private practice on the Gold Coast. Anne has a special interest in working with young children with developmental delays and disabilities, as well as school aged children experiencing language and literacy related learning difficulties. Anne first trained in PROMPT in 2001 and has been using PROMPT with a wide range of patients ever since.

Kathryn is a registered Speech Pathologist on the Gold Coast in Queensland (Australia) and in Northern New South Wales (Australia) with Combined Therapy Consultants, a multidisciplinary private practice. She has been practicing Speech Pathology with children and adults for 20 years in a variety of settings including Community Health, Hospitals, Education and Rehabilitation.


Kathryn was first trained in PROMPT in 1999. She works primarily with children with a range of needs including autism, physical disabilities, learning and literacy disabilities, specific language difficulties and motor speech disorders. Justine Rhind

Clapham, London

Justine Rhind is able to mentor speech and language therapists wanting to develop their
PROMPT skills, and think more confidently and independently about the PROMPT approach
and system. She will give gentle guidance and clear direction in order to facilitate your
growth as a clinician, whilst providing a safe space for questions, technique support, and
problem solving. She will encourage you on your journey, at your own pace, so that you get
the most out of your training. Clinicians will feel more secure in their own PROMPT decision
making skills which will allow a more enjoyable therapeutic journey with clients.
Justine achieved a BSC-Hons Speech Sciences from University College London and has been
working with a pediatric case-load of all ages for 24 years, 18 of which have been in
independent practice in both Australia and the U.K.

Motivated to find a motor-based therapy solution for the treatment of speech difficulties,
Justine started her PROMPT journey in 2005 whilst based in Australia and has used it
consistently since her initial training. On her return to the U.K. she became a PROMPT
Instructor, completing her training in 2017. She now teaches throughout the U.K. and
across the world, and also provides mentoring to U.K. based, and international Speech
Therapists.

Justine specializes in the treatment of Motor Speech Disorders, Dyspraxia, Dysarthria,
disorders of muscle tone, and early language development. Her clinical journey has
allowed her access to an extremely varied experience, and includes work with complex and
rare genetic disorders, Cerebral Palsy, and Traumatic Brain Injury, Language and Literacy
Disorders, Developmental Delay and Sensory Processing Disorders.
She is committed to the partnership with the broader multi-disciplinary team so as to
provide holistic and effective therapy, allowing her clients to meet their true communicative
potential. Collaborative practice has also allowed her to gain a deeper understanding of a

Camille Vanin

Camille works in her private practice near Paris. She works mainly with children aged from 0-10 years old with various disorders: verbal dyspraxia, rare syndromes, autism, deafness. Currently, she also works for her own company, Maddie Communique, and supervises teams on the implementation of AAC in health institutions and special schools. 

For the past 3 years, she has been studying for her AVT (auditory verbal therapy) certification and has been developing projects around coaching in early intervention in different areas (motor speech disorders, autism, deafness).

The Netherlands

Karin Brinkmann

Eindhoven

After having worked in her private clinic for 25 years, Karin now focuses on mentoring SLP's, PT's and OT's, teachers and (professional)  caregivers. Her main specialty are children with speech and language disorders, sensory processing disorders, and/or neurological disorders.

Karin has been a PROMPT instructor since 2008 and travels the world to teach for PROMPT in English, Dutch and German. Where ever she travels to she  will integrate PROMPT in the spoken language of the country, and make the PROMPTs specific so the speech therapists can immediately use the PROMPTs in their own language. Besides teaching about PROMPT, Karin also teaches workshops on sensory processing disorders.

Petra works within specialized care and education at the organization Koninklijke Auris Groep. She provides her treatments to toddlers, preschoolers and school aged children with impairments including speech sound disorders, motor speech delays/disorders, developmental language disorders, autism, deaf and hard of hearing. She believes it’s essential to involve the system around a child in the treatments, which makes her work intensively with parents, teachers and (professional) caregivers. Together with them, she explores the communicative needs of the child and his/her environment and, from a collaborative approach, tries to increase the child's communicative capabilities.

Petra has been PROMPT trained since 2008 and became a PROMPT Certified Instructor in 2019. She is also a Hanen Certified Trainer. She provides various training, coaching and mentoring for both PROMPT and Hanen to SLP’s and other (professional) caregivers.

Anna is a trilingual speech-language pathologist whose credentials have been recognized in Russia, the USA, and Germany. She currently works at her private practice in Mainz, Germany.  Anna received a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the California State University Fullerton and is a certified member of ASHA. Her current caseload includes adults and children with communication, voice and swallowing disorders. Anna has been PROMPT trained since 2009 and has been using PROMPT with a wide range of patients ever since. She has a special interest in working with adults with acquired apraxia of speech and aphasia and bilingual children with complex communication problems.

Elizabeth Kuegeler Wolters

Nuremberg, Germany

Beth received her Masters of Arts from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and was first trained in PROMPT in Sept. 2001. Beth has been a PROMPT instructor since 2008. She was the speech-language pathology coordinator and worked closely with occupational and physical therapists in private practice in Aptos California, prior to establishing her own private practice in Nürnberg, Germany in 2004. Beth specializes in serving children with speech-language disorders and a variety of developmental disabilities. She also offers PROMPT consulting / mentoring services to families and speech-language professionals.

Together with German colleagues, she is responsible for the translation and updating of the German PROMPT workshop materials. It is her goal to provide more knowledge about PROMPT to the German-speaking world and Europe. Beth is also active on the PROMPT research committee.

Laura D’Eugenio has a multidisciplinary private practice in Padova, Italy. She provides speech-

Gaby is a private practice neurologist clinician with Licenciada en Fonoaudiología, in La Rioja, Argentina. She has international certifications in techniques related to Castillo Morales Concept for regulating orofacial and corporal tone ( Argentina-Germany); in Auditory Training ( Ingo Stainbach.USA); and in introduction Floortime of Greenspan. In addition, Gabriela holds specialized training in Sensory Integration topics.


She has been using PROMPT since May, 1998 in the Hispanic population, and has contact with many patients in Spanish speaking countries. She has also taught and supervised clinicians from Cordoba University in Argentina. Gaby has spoken on PROMPT in Argentina, Uruguay, Cuba, Panamá and México.

Maria Jerliee F. Casas, M.A., CCC-SLP

Quezon City, Manila

Jerilee received her degree as a speech pathologist from the University of the Philippines- Manila. She graduated in 2003 and has worked as a speech pathologist in the academe, hospital, and private clinics. in Manila.  Since then Jerilee has worked with both children and adults with varied speech and communication disorders.

Over the years, Jerilee has worked with a lot of young children with motor speech disorders.  The abundance of these cases is what urged her to undergo training in the PROMPT approach in 2007.  She has been using PROMPT with a wide range of clients.

Along with her colleagues, she recently set-up her own practice at THINKids in Quezon City, Metro Manila where she sees the children with a range of needs including those diagnosed with Autism, language disorders and delay, specific language impairments, Down Syndrome and motor speech disorders.

Gal has a private practice in Aseret, Israel. She provides speech-language services in Hebrew to toddlers, preschoolers and school age children with a wide range of impairments including motor speech disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, dysarthria, language disorders, drooling, hard of hearing and deafness. Nida ŞANLI is physiotherapist and speech language therapist (M.Sc) and studying PhD. She is

in Hanen More than Words, It Takes 2 to Talk, Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT), Profectum

Nida has been PROMPT trained since 2012. She is delivering PROMPT with a wide

speech disorders, developmental language disorders, autism, children with special needs and
stuttering. She provides services for preschool and school aged children. She works with children
on an individual basis and provides training, support and programming for caregivers, childcare
